Behind the Scenes: Rachel Zoe

Elle magazines states" Rachel Zoe is taking a moment away from styling and designing her eponymous line to offer ladies advice on what to wear under their clothes. The fashion authority and reality TV star has partnered with Jockey for the campaign, Rachel Zoe's "Major Must Haves," a new collection of Zoe-approved shapewear. Before the ads are released in November, ELLE.com got a sneak peek of behind-the scenes photos and chatted with Zoe about her hubby's take on shapewear, who should play her in a TV series, and how she's dressing her son Skyler Berman these days."

ELLE: What drew you to this project?

Rachel Zoe: It seemed like such a natural fit. I've actually always been a fan of Jockey. I think it was this wonderful idea of bringing a little bit more fashion to an already very established, iconic brand.

ELLE: Tell us about the campaign.
RZ: The shoot was about me with the product, talking about Jockey. So it was focused on how great each product is: the technology, the fabrics, and the models—nylon, lace, crazy prints, and all things like that.

ELLE: What do you look for in shapewear?

RZ: Number one: comfort, which is really why I love Jockey. And the fact that it's actually really functional. They have all of these incredible silhouettes, like hipsters, boy shorts, thongs, and seamless; and that all just makes it amazing. Obviously I love seamless [styles] when I'm styling.
