Help Japan!

Hello readers!
As you all know Japan has been hit with two horrible natural disasters.
A hurricane and a tsunami.
Both destroyed lives, homes, and businesses.
It devastated parts of Japan's northern coast, sent the Tokyo markets plunging, and canceled Japan Fashion Week.
If you would like to help support Japan there are a few things you can do!

1) New York or Tri-State readers:
Go to the 3.1 Phillip Lim sample sale next Thursday and Friday (3/24 and 3/25) from 10:00 a.m. to 6:00 p.m. at their NY headquarters (260 West Thirty-ninth Street, seventeenth floor), where everything—men’s, women’, kids’, accessories will be sold to benefit the American Red Cross.

2) Buy tickets to see more than a dozen innovative artists, including Yoko Ono and Sean Lennon and Sonic Youth, performing at Columbia University’s Miller Theater on March 27.

3) Buy a Lady Gaga–designed $5 white plastic wristband with the words “We Pray for Japan” written in English and Japanese. In the first 48 hours, she raised more than $250,000 from sales.

4) Shop online at Alexis Bittar next week, as 100 percent of online sales from March 21–25 will go to Catholic Relief Services to assist in the earthquake recovery.

5) CFDA is organizing an online auction to benefit the victims of the earthquake, tsunami, and nuclear disaster in Japan at charitybuzz.com. Designers and industry insiders will be donating clothing, accessories, and once in a lifetime fashion experiences, so get ready to bid for a good cause.

I hope you will donate or at least give something to those who are in need.
Keep praying for Japan!
