Campaign Ad: First Debut Loewe.

Jonathan Anderson, who showed his first collection for LVMH-owned heritage house Loewe in Paris this morning, is no different. But in his debut campaign for the house, which was unveiled yesterday, he actually did something quite fresh: He not only acknowledged his references, he highlighted them. The campaign, which was shot by Steven Meisel with art direction by M&M Paris (who also created Loewe’s revamped logo), is based on a 1997 Meisel editorial, which itself was based on an Alex Katz image. So alongside the new ads, Anderson has incorporated the old snaps. “Instead of hiding the inspiration, we just showed it,” offered Anderson, while snacking on some prawns in Paris Wednesday night.

Anderson had an interview with Style check it out below:

" When I was first thinking of Loewe, I had this 1997 Steven Meisel Vogue Italiaeditorial in mind, which was based on an Alex Katz picture. It was a group of kids on the beach, and I pitched it to the group. We were trying to work out how to tackle the house’s historical credentials. We got M&M on board to do the logo, and then it was, Well, how do we make imagery for this brand and show it as a cultural reference to fashion, a cultural reference to non-fashion? So we came up with the idea to reuse the 1997 Meisel images, and then we did new imagery with Meisel. We superimposed both, and used the idea of the fashion reference. There was no point in asking Meisel to re-create the image. It was more exciting to show his work now as art."

"I want Loewe to become a cultural brand. For me, the challenge was how do I take a [heritage] brand and make it modern for right now? We see these images in fashion repeated and copied and repeated and copied, and I thought it was better to just show them. They exist and they’re sharp and modern. I want Loewe to be an honest brand, and I want it to be open to new forms of fashion, new forms of imagery, and new forms of information. So by taking the still life of the bag and shooting it against a white backdrop, itis the bag. We’re not hiding anything—that’s it."

"It’s a lot of work. We’ve got our new building. We have the advertising campaign. We have the menswear collection, we have the bag collection, everything. And then it goes into stores in a couple weeks. There are a lot of balls in the air, but I have an amazing team of people who have been incredible. I’m very lucky that someone has basically said, “We trust you to do it.” I want to enjoy it. I’m looking forward to seeing that beach scene on a kiosk. I’m looking forward to seeing it in a magazine. I’m looking forward to seeing clothing on people. Loewe has become my brand, but it is Loewe. I’m here as a guest, but we’re rebuilding, and we’re rebuilding a house that has incredible craft and technology and details that I’ve never seen before in my entire life. Every day, I get up a 6 a.m. because I’m excited. And I think that’s what it should be about."

Magazine Cover: Rihanna UNCENSORED x LUI. (NSFW!!!!)

Rihanna is rocking a bucket hat, braids, her breasts are completely exposed.
This cover was actually a mimic from their 1972 front cover.

Rihanna is beyond a rebel but more in-tuned with her free spirit.
Rihanna is on fire right now and she is on the front cover of a couple of magazines right now!
Rihanna posses nude for a French adult entertainment magazine.
Though many are judging her, but yet are you paying her?
Rihanna's team has strategy and is playing chess with this superstar!

Many are acting offended and is speaking negative about her.
Yes, everyone is entitled to their own opinion but at the end of the say she is worth MILLIONS.
Being the star that she is, sex appeal and selling sex comes with the territory, and we all know how sexual Rihanna is so this was nothing but a walk in the park for her.

The rest of the photos, shot in the Hollywood Hills by famed photographer Mario Sorrenti, are even more racy. A panty-less RiRi pokes her booty in the air and lies by the pool wearing only a pair of mint heels, with her tan line prominently showing.

Rihanna is on top right now and smoking hot.
She is out here whooping ass and taking names while laughing all the way to the BANK!

Magazine Cover: Miley Cyrus x ELLE.

Look who it is readers, it's Ms. Miley Cyrus!
I like this Miley better than the always naked girl.
Whenever I buy an ELLE magazine, I look for fashion, chic, and also elegant looking cover girls.
To see Miley on this cover and fully clothed is speaking to me.
What is your take on their front cover?

In other news, Cyrus is wearing a sequined tunic and matching flared pants made by her bestie Marc Jacobs (the look is from Jacobs' most recent fall/winter 2014/2015 collection), and she channels a little David Bowie in that slouch and pout.

"ELLE's May issue is devoted to women in music, so who better than the Bangerz girl herself for the cover?"

She is so gorgeous!
I am happy that she can vocalize her surgery and be proud of her decision.
Ladies, never let anyone's opinion dull your life and what you want to do.

For her Harper's Bazaar magazine shoot, Kate wears pieces from her collection.
April 30th marks the day her collection will be available for purchase!

"Topshop.com just released a behind-the-scenes video featuring the designer herself, as well as a mood board (we spy that iconic yellow dress), and a collection of fabrics in bright pinks and metallic stars. But most importantly, we get to hear Moss speak—and considering that's not something the supe does very often in public, it's a real treat.
“I learned a lot the first time around,” she said. “This collection is a bit more sophisticated. Everything in the collection is something I’d definitely wear.”"

You can sign up to pre-order these 3 featured items on ShopBAZAAR starting April 15, before the entire collection hits on April 30. Lady Gaga for Porter Magazine.

We haven't seen Lady Gaga this bare, she is in a rare form for this front cover.
Last week, Porter magazine celebrated the singer's 28th birthday by confirming her as the cover star of issue 2.

Lensed by Inez & Vinoodh, Gaga is shown with minimal makeup, soft waves, and messy bangs
. It’s the icon as she is rarely seen, but it’s right in line with Porter‘s mission to focus on strong women and their stories—not costumes and unattainable perfection.

"Debuting exclusively on Style.com are two spreads from the story inside. The vibe is moody, sensual, and relaxed, depicting Gaga in comfortable boudoir attire (including a vintage robe that belonged to her grandmother). The idea was to capture her in a pared-down, “undone” state, channeling seventies female musicians. And while it isn’t what we’re used to seeing, Gaga told Porter‘s Christine Lennon that it spurred some nostalgia."

Looking good Gaga!
It's always good to see different sides to celebrities so we can get a feel for who they really are.

Such A Tease!

Lady Gaga lands the Porter Magazine cover for her birthday.

"Today, the publication’s Instagram account posted a teaser cover of Issue 2, instructing followers to download the #IAmPorter app to discover the mystery cover girl. A second Instagram featuring giant Mickey Mouse ears and the question, “Who’d wear a hat like this? #ARTPOP #ISSUE2,” quickly confirmed the answer: Lady Gaga. Coincidentally (or not so coincidentally?), today also happens to be the star’s 28th birthday.
To encourage social media sharing among Gaga’s many devoted fans, readers can upload photos to the #IAmPorter app and superimpose her famous Philip Treacy headpieces onto the image. Warning: It’s almost too much fun. Prepare for total selfie overload."

How cute is that?
Happy birthday GAGA!!

Allure x Lauren Conrad.

The star opens up about how her reality-TV past has shaped her—and her secret for living peacefully with her fiancé. Go behind the scenes of her third Allure cover shoot, where she was photographed by Alexi Lubomirski in a retro-glam East Hollywood home.

In her Allure interview, Conrad was measured and kind and as emotionally opaque as a First Lady. Which is exactly how she wants it. "Doing reality television for such a long time made a big difference," she says. "People were in my bedroom." Maybe Conrad's enduring appeal isn't a result of letting people into her bedroom; it's that there wasn't a sex tape when we got there. "You have to represent yourself well no matter what you do," she says. Here, Conrad poses in a wool crepe dress by Juan Carlos Obando and suede-and-vinyl pumps by Aquazzura.

Decorating tips from Conrad, here wearing a Kaufmanfranco dress, spill over into relationship tips. "If it was up to me, my home would be just over-the-top girlie and vintage," she says, adding, with a Southern drawl, "but I share my home with a gentleman now," in reference to fiancé William Tell. Conrad, whose parents have been together since they were 17, says the number-one tip she learned from her mother about living with a man is that you need your own room. As for the bedroom? "I wanted it to be very calm." She's trying to break the habit of working in her bed. "Your bed is for sleep and sex," she says.

To prevent Conrad's '60s-inspired look—the cover—from verging on costumey, makeup artist Melanie Inglessis kept Conrad's skin "fresh and dewy." She drew a thick line just below the creases on the star's eyelids with a black kohl liner, then smudged a gray cream shadow into the creases. For a subtle glow, Inglessis blended a golden bronzer on Conrad's cheekbones, nose, and forehead. Then she pressed on a blush-nude lip color. Conrad's look can be re-created with the following: Clinique Kohl Shaper for Eyes in Black Kohl, Clinique Chubby Stick Shadow Tint for Eyes in Curvaceous Coal, Clinique Up-Lighting Liquid Illuminator in Bronze, and Clinique Chubby Stick Intense Moisturizing Lip Colour Balm in Curviest Caramel.

Hairstylist Serge Normant gave Conrad's hair volume inspired by Catherine Deneuve in Belle de Jour."There's a chicness about it, even though it's sexy," says Normant. To get the look, he prepped the hair with a volumizing spray, blew it out, and then loosely curled it. For a "hint of retro, but soft, sex appeal," he brushed out and smoothed the curls before teasing the crown and sides. Here, Normant uses a blow-dryer as an impromptu wind machine while Conrad poses in a Paper Crown top and LC Lauren Conrad for Kohl's jeans.

Conrad, posing here for Lubomirski in a dress by Juan Carlos Obando, hasn't let her reality-television fame turn her into a punch line; instead, it has turned her into a role model. Today, Conrad oversees five businesses, including her two clothing lines and most recently, the Little Market, a website that sells goods made by artisans in developing countries. Is she a budding Martha Stewart? "I wish!" says Conrad, her eyes going wide.

Let's Play Dress Up.

Nicole Richie plays dress up for Spring for ELLE'S Creative Director Joe Zee.
Richie shares her dress-up tips, sit back and relax as the House of Harlow 1960 designer takes us for a ride!

Layering Lesson

What inspired you to put a House of Harlow sweater under this Alexander Wang jumper?

My daughter actually taught me this trick. She is the girliest girl ever, so the only way I can get her dressed in the winter is to put turtlenecks under her dresses. And I think that’s so chic.

What about the flats?

I wear flat shoes all the time. There’s not anything cute about waddling in some heels that you’re not comfortable in. My one rule is that I always wear flats to weddings.

Why?

Because I want to dance! I want to be there all night. And I know people get cray.

Get Knit

How do you feel about this turn as a Céline sweater girl?

It’s cool, and it’s new for me. You kind of introduced me! I’m a huge fan of Céline, but I don’t wear a lot of sweater dresses—but this is really comfortable, and I can wear it to work.

What compels you to try something new?

It’s about listening to your friends and having fun with it.

Print Party

Prints play a huge role in my life. This outfit had every reason to go wrong, but we just kept adding prints and it turned out great. I really like the pants, and I’m a huge fan of the bed jacket.

Would you ever do that jacket over a short dress?

Well, I don’t wear a lot of little short dresses. I like them when you can appreciate the length of the leg—which I don’t have. I’m 5'1".

Night for Night

So where would you wear this over-the-top Balmain?

This is my take-the-kids-to-school look.

I think we should just screw day-to-night dressing and wear night for night.

Yeah, there are very sassy nights when you need this! I’d just really tone it down with the hair and not wear any makeup. You have to find one thing that’s a standout, and then keep everything else clean.

Semi-Casual Friday

This look is by your friend Anthony Vaccarello.
When I first look at his pieces, I’m like, 'There is no way!' They’re always one centimeter away from being naked. But then it works.

What drew you to this outfit?

The very opposite constructions. The whole miniskirt-with-the-tight-top thing is not really me. But I can wear a miniskirt if I wear a big top over it. Then I don’t feel so woo-woo!

Covergirl.

The beautiful Gisele Bundchen is posing nude in Vogue Paris yet again.
Who wouldn't want her as their covergirl more than once?
In case you do not know her history, Gisele was born in Horizontina, Rio Grande do Sul, Brazil.
The close-up cover shot of Bundchen sporting a smokey eye, a nude lip, soft curls, diamond earrings and a winter-white jacket is super gorgeous.

How awesome is this picture above?
She is speaking volumes in this picture right there.
Sporting her sexy in shape and toned body (not bad for a woman with two young kids), Gisele holds on to herself in the picture wearing ankle socks and tennis shoes on the left and rocking a body suit and heels on the right.
Not bad for a hard working mother and being 33 years old.
She is definitely one of my top 5 models, she kills it in every photoshoot!

Oprah & her Afro.

Oprah dedicates her "O" September magazine issue to HAIR!
Everything is about hair!
Go Oprah!
The natural hair community is buzzing and every curlfriend is on the look out for this issue including myself!

Winfrey is on the front cover of the issue rocking a big afro the size of a chihuahua which she called "Wild Thang".
It came in its own pink carrying case wrapped in bubble wrap, and, as O creative director Adam Glassman said, made Oprah look like “Chaka Khan and Diana Ross combined” in the cover shot, above.
After Oprah put away the wig, she went for something a little less dramatic for the inside pages: Her own untouched, natural hair. “No wig, weave, perm, braids, twists, extensions, curling iron, straightening comb, or blow-dryer. Au naturel!” she wrote on the “What I Know For Sure” page.

Both she and her longtime stylist Andre Walker said that the superstar has relaxed significantly about how her hair looks these days. “As much as I enjoyed hanging out with Wild Thang,” Oprah said, “I know for sure that your true crowning glory comes not from what’s on your head but from what’s in your heart.”

Who else is going to purchase this issue?
I am ALL ABOUT MY NATURAL HAIR!
