" Next month, 3.1 Phillip Lim launches a new all-indigo capsule collection of clean and modern silhouettes. Elements like a sharp, fitted blazer, a wide-leg pant, a boxy top, or cropped trench are the kinds of blank-canvas pieces that could be incorporated seamlessly into an everyday look or worn altogether without fear of Texas-tuxedo ridicule. What’s perhaps most exciting about the whole thing is the grown-up look of Lim’s dark, raw denim. “Everyone can relate to denim, but I wanted to refashion it for our lifestyle,” Lim says. “I wanted the cut, finish, and details to be considered and, most importantly, appropriate.” That’s music to our ears."
